Nicolas Suarez '16 Recruiting Profile

In college I expect to use swimming as way of keeping myself grounded both physically and mentally, continuing to train hard and work to help the team excel in its respective conference. I bring a sense of humor to the team, a positive energy that inspires the other athletes to perform their best. As a leader on both my high school and club team, I have been able to lead my team to victories in dual meets and in conference championships. My training ethic is very strong, practicing nearly every day throughout the short course and long course seasons. I attend almost all two-a-days/doubles practices during the summer and continue to drop large amounts of time every year. However, as a collegiate athlete I expect to excel even further in my athleticism and surpassing my highest expectations in the water. As a student I am also hard working, maintaining good academics in one of the premier private college-prepatory schools in the nation, Greenhill. I am passionate about both swimming and school, devoting the entirety of my later years to training and hours in the pool, while performing strong academically. Swimming is very important to me and I would love to continue my journey as an athlete at the collegiate level.
