I dreamed of being a collegiate swimmer since I was in elementary school. As I developed throughout the years in swimming, I respect and enjoy the sport so much more. I appreciate swimming because it has taught me more than just the physical benefits; it has taught me self-discipline. This life-long lesson continues to shape my life in a positive way, and I anticipate the same in college.
As I prepare for college, I continue to gain determination when achieving personal goals in swimming and in the classroom. I maintain a good GPA with excellent attendance. I do not give up easily, and my optimistic attitude helps me persevere. I have worked hard to prepare for college.
Because swimming has become a large part of my life, it would be my big dream to advance to the collegiate level. I am mentally and physically ready to work harder than I ever have.
