To be entirely honest, I have only been in the pool for little more than a year (and less than half that for competitive running), very little experience compared to most who compete in college, but I do have potential and have progressed quite rapidly (in my opinion of course), but still have much to learn. Realizing that I enjoy swimming, running, and various other sports, more than most I have spent countless hours in the pool, and just recently running, every chance I get and will continue to do so for the remainder of my life. My dreams, though fanciful (but not impossible), are to compete in swimming and possibly track or cross country (or both) on a college level while also competing in triathlons, marathons, etc. whenever they are available to eventually earn enough experience and skill to compete in swimming and other endurance based sports on an elite or professional level.
