My collegiate goal is, no matter what college I'm at, I want to excel, work hard, make lifelong family with my coach and teammates, and to give it my all. I am a hard worker and never give up, no matter what the challenge is. I always strive to do better and be the best as a student, friend/family, lifeguard/swim instructor, and athlete, that I can be. I have been swimming since the age of 12, I’ve continued to improve tremendously in the four year span that I have competed. My core GPA is a 3.4, my first semester of high school was 2020 when COVID had just started, so online courses were a little rough to get used to. I have been on honor roll since the second quarter of highschool and inducted into National Honor Society in October of my freshman year. I am tall, coming in at 6‘2 and 3/4 and 165 pounds. I lift 3 to 4 times a week and, as a side sport, I play basketball for fun with my friends. I'm definitely a talkative guy, which usually makes me able to get along well with everyone. Most of my peers would say I have a good personality, I am funny, and I love meeting new people. I love that swimming gives me an opportunity to meet my peers from all over, I have made so many new lifelong friends. I like working as part of a team and I enjoy being a leader. This is one of the reasons why I chose my career path to be an Engineer. For me, my team is as important as my family, and I consider all of them to be part of my family. The main goal as a teammate is that we should all be there for one another, respect each other, and continue to better each other no matter the situation. Cheering on each other is important, it shows support and helps to build each other up; this includes my friends I have made on other teams. In my free time I am a lifeguard and swim instructor at our local pool, where my club Poseidon swims. I look forward to college to further my career as a student athlete.
