Hayden Mueller '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayden Mueller. I have been swimming competitively since I was 9 years old. During my 9 years of swimming, I have made countless friendships and memories. My team has always been like a family to me and I think that is why I love this sport so much. Being on a team means you have to look out for one another. If someone falls down, it is your responsibility to pick them back up. It is your job to push them not only in the pool, but in the classroom as well. On my high school team, if someone wasn't doing too well in a class, some of us would get on their case in hopes of them picking up their own slack. You want everyone on your team to succeed. As much of an individual sport swimming is, the team aspect is what brings everyone together. That is what I love about this sport. That is why I wish to continue my swimming career through out college.
