James Vuille-Kowing '19 Recruiting Profile

I am very solid academically with a high GPA and SAT scores and am confident I can balance schoolwork with athletics. I started playing tennis when I was 12 -years-old,  which meant I had to develop tenacity and grit to catch up. As a result, I developed a willingness to push and challenge myself. I am 6’5 “and anticipate my future growth and physical development will elevate my game. I am a fast runner and have run a mile in 5 minutes, 40 seconds. I will bring with me valuable experiences learned from playing 4 years of high school team tennis under the guidance of a highly respected coach and mentor who taught me the importance of commitment to team goals. I am a good listener, am “coachable” and I quickly adapt to change and have a strong desire to learn and improve. Playing college tennis would fulfill my dream and will help prepare me for life’s challenges.
