Jace Hinely '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, I am Jace Hinely, a freshman on the Effingham County High School tennis team. I feel that I am a great candidate for your team because of my persevering attitude and goal driven mindset. I take drills and conditioning to another level, not to an extent of not having fun, but keeping the end goal in mind during every shot. I believe that focusing on the point at hand is an important frame of mind to have, as well as hitting every shot with a purpose. I am unlike any other tennis recruit because I am willing to do whatever it takes to reach the next level and farther than anyone has gone to prove that I am #1 and lead my team to victory. I take most things seriously and are passionate about the sport of tennis and interacting with my fellow teammates. I value my teammates due to their contributions to winning the overall matches and by the brotherhood between us as friends. By pushing my teammates to be at their peak of performance, our team grows stronger and stronger to where everyone keeps each other accountable...to become an elite team. Not only does this make the team fierce competitors not to be reckoned with, but it also forms an unbreakable bond, not only as a team but also as a family. I have played various sports including baseball, soccer, track and tennis, which makes me better able to adapt to all circumstances as an athlete. I strive to keep all A's in every class and push myself to take AP and Honors high school classes. I am committed to academics before tennis, because as my coach always says "You are a student before an athlete."
