Quentin Spears '22 Recruiting Profile

Having been playing tennis for only 3  1/2 years I appreciate the depth of skills that this sport takes to master. I am a calm, coachable, driven athlete and student.  I would love the opportunity to continue my passion for tennis at a college level.  I know what hard work takes since I have  been playing "catch up" in the game of tennis since I started later than most. These past few years I have been going up against players that started playing tennis at a young age, trying to get better at this sport has taught me to be patient, determined and to never get up. I take all the information the coaches give me and practice it over and over until I get it right. Learning all this from tennis has dribbled into my academic life as well. I use the same concepts in my schooling to help better my understanding of the subjects at hand. It has taught there are no loopholes in life. That the only way to exceed in life is to practice, be patient, and to stay determined.
