I have been playing tennis since the spring of 7th grade in Middle School, and my love for the sport has grown since then. My Freshman year had me playing 2nd doubles on the varsity team. Recently, I just finished up my Sophomore tennis season playing at the 3rd singles position. Both years have taught me much. Including teamwork during my Freshman year, and having a strong mindset during my Sophomore year. What I would say makes me different from other players, is that I don't have the resources that many others may have. I've made the most of what I have. There have been private and team lessons I have taken, but much of my improvement has come from my commitment to get better. I get pretty decent grades in school too. I enjoy learning new things and getting higher grades in school. Most importantly, I want my team to succeed. I try my hardest to help the team and get the motivation up.
