Personal Statement

Hi. My name is Jonathan Muravchik. I am a junior in Brooklyn Technical High School. I have been playing tennis since I was 2 years old and have loved it ever since. I hope to play tennis for my future college so I can help improve myself as a tennis player and help the team as much as I can. I have started to take tennis very seriously in the past 6 months and expect to improve my rankings through the rest of my high school times and beyond. Every day, every session, I strive to become a better athlete as well as a better person. Being able to play at a high level in college and pursue business/finance through college has been a huge goal for me and I hope I can make it happen.

Yes. I have taken/am taking 5 AP classes up until this moment. These do not include Pre-AP World History and a PLTW class (Design and Drafting for Production). I took both of these in my freshmen year. As a sophomore, I took AP World History and AP Computer Science Principles. This year (junior) I am taking Ap US History, AP Micro Economics and AP Macro Economics.
