Hi, I’m Teddy Aaron from Greenwich, Connecticut. Tennis has always been more than just a sport for me—it’s my passion and a big part of who I am. I’ve been dedicated to improving my skills for years, and my goal is to play at the college level. I work hard every day to make that dream a reality.
During my freshman year (2023–2024), I had a great season playing singles. I made it to the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Individual Tournament and was a finalist in my league’s Individual Tournament. I was also honored to be named All-League as a freshman, which meant a lot to me. That year taught me a lot and pushed me to want even more from myself.
In 10th grade, I’ve continued building on that foundation. I bring strong work habits, fast footwork, and a lot of determination every time I step on the court. I love the battle of competition and never back down from a tough match. I’m still working on raising my UTR and improving in key areas, but I’ve already spoken with several college coaches who believe I can compete at the Division III level and possibly higher. That’s really motivating for me.
One big area I’ve worked on is handling nerves and staying calm under pressure. In the past, I struggled with anxiety during matches, but I’ve made huge progress. Now I feel more confident and focused—and I’ve started winning more because of it. Lately, I’ve been playing some of my best tennis. I’m attacking more, taking control of points, and going deep into tournaments against tough opponents, which has given me a huge boost. I’m hungry to keep climbing and prove what I can do at the college level.
