Kevin Huang '15 Recruiting Profile

Dear coaches,

I thank you for any opportunities that you may give to me.  I realize that recruiting is a very long and time-consuming task, so I will try to keep this short and sweet.

Tennis achievements (not many USTA tournaments in my area):

• Captain of championship high school team
• Qualified for New York State Tennis Championships sophomore, junior, and senior year (held at BJK National Tennis Center)
• Made it to Round of 16 at NYS Championships senior year in singles
• Qualified for NYS Championships in both doubles and singles
• Named All-State and Scholar Athlete every year in high school

Defining characteristics of Me:

• Open and amiable
  • Easily gels into a team
  • Forged and led a strong, united high school team
• Love the game of tennis
  • Works hard and enjoys both practice and matches
• Academics extremely important
  • 4.4 weighted GPA; as many AP classes as possible

Due to my last point, I am mainly looking at colleges that have strong engineering and/or physical sciences programs.  Again, thank you all for your consideration and I hope I will be able to help you out!
