2016 Match PlayPersonal Statement
My goal is to attend a university offering a liberal arts program with a strong men's tennis program where I will grow academically and as an individual and team tennis player.
As a 6'3" 195 pound player, I will bring to the tennis team the following abilities: A very aggressive style of play, a play to win versus a "play not to lose" mentality, a positive attitude both on and off the court and the ability to change my style of play during matches, if needed, to defeat the opponent. I also bring the desire to work hard everyday on the tennis court and in the classroom and will be a strong supporter of the tennis program. I am coachable and welcome feedback on both strengths and weaknesses.
