I am currently a Sr. and am working very hard on my game. I am very excited with the possibility of someday contributing to a college level program.
I have played for my varsity HS team at Pflugerville HS since my freshman year. Last semester I broke the school record for Varsity wins which used to stand at 111, I am currently at 149 wins as a varsity player at PHS. I am very proud of this accomplishment. I have been playing line 1 singles since my sophomore year, and I have been playing line 1 boys doubles and mixed doubles as well. I have been awarded Freshman of the Year, and Sophomore of the year and my sophomore year I was also awarded Most Valuable Player; the first time that award was given to a Sophomore. As a Jr., I was again awarded Junior of the Year, and MVP. I also attend a local academy (MAC360 Tennis) run by Sean McKinley, and my private coach there is Neil Adams. I play under USTA as often as I am able to improve my game and challenge myself. I turned 17 yrs. old as a 16 Super Champ, and moved up to 18's Champ this past April and am working to achieve Super Champ level in the 18's level. I started playing tennis just before entering my freshman year in HS, the summer between my 8th grade and freshman year. I am a fast learner and a very hard worker. When I decided that I wanted to be a tennis player, I give everything I can to it. I am very grateful to my parents for giving me the opportunities they have afforded me to pursue the dream I have of playing college tennis and someday at a higher level if possible.
My primary academic interest is a path to majoring in Physical Therapy.
In the meantime, I continue to work hard on my tennis game and on my grades and I would very much like an opportunity to play college tennis when I graduate HS next year.
