Mitchell Allen '22 Recruiting Profile

As the son of a 1st-generation college graduate and marathon runner, I am driven to achieve excellence. I dream of becoming a college athlete like my brother. My brother, Trey Allen, accepted a track and field scholarship with the University of Louisville in 2019. He inspires me as he was the #1 high jumper in the nation in 2019 and won both ID and OD National HJ Championships along with State and All-American titles. He is now among the top 25 NCAA D1 High Jumpers in the nation. I hope to surpass his track and field success one day! 

My family is excited about my goals and fully supports me, and I give my best in everything I do. I am passionate about track and field because it demands individual accomplishments, teamwork, and leadership. I will always conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the track, realizing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, and my school.
