Starting with my main sport as soccer since I was 4, I have always had that ambition to win and to succeed in anything I put my mind to. I started running to stay in shape for soccer during the fall semester of 8th grade, although I felt a deep passion for running during that season of cross country. That season was meant to learn more about the sport, how the sport benefits me, and to find which events fit best for me and my running style. That 8th grade season, I ran my current PRs of 2:31 in the 800m, and 5:22 in the 1600m. However I have been set back by a few injuries, which have been taken care of. I am a sophomore now and I still have the passion and drive to become one of the best in my events.
