Preston Bennett '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Preston Bennett, and I would love to compete at the next level in college. I believe in my ability in this sport, and I will strive every single day to get better, whether it be working on the little things in my technique, or throwing outside in the rain until the blisters on my right hand began to swell. I have a passion for this, and will compete with anyone. I placed 2nd in the 5a State Championship in the 2021 season, and I’m aiming for gold in the upcoming season. I want to reach my goal of 160 ft for next year, and believe that I can get it done. I made a 40 ft jump from my Sophomore to Junior year, and believe that adding another 20 feet to my throw isn’t out of reach. I am being helped and supported in this process by my Mom, my Dad, and my 3 siblings. I’m also doing this for my Papa, who always wanted to see me compete in college. I look forward to what lies in the future for me.
