James Winston '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 4 year varsity runner and varsity soccer player at Saint Mary's Catholic High School.  I am an extremely motivated distance runner and am working very hard on the off-season this year.   I have been a team captain since my Junior year. I achieved best runner in 2015 and 2016, rookie of the year in 2013.  I leave nothing during practices, and run relentlessly in XC meets to be a great example for my team mates. I also have run a half marathon before at 1hour and 25 minutes.  As well as being an athletic leader, I am an honor role scholar athlete with a cumulative un- weighted GPA of 3.749. I am active in ambassadors club, National Honors Society, and Columbian Squires in which I am President of the club.
