Kyle Yoon '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Kyle Yoon. I am a current  senior at Ayala High School running the 400m, 800m, and 4x400 relay for the Ayala track team. In college, I would specifically like to pursue the medical field and get a degree in pharmaceuticals or biomedical engineering . What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I like to give my full 100% and encourage the others around me in giving it their absolute best. Giving my best for the team is extremely important because anything less can bring the team down. What makes me different from other recruits is I am always striving to academically challenge myself with the most advanced courses I can take on top of my athletics. To me personally, being well rounded is a very useful trait whether it is for a sports team or for anything else in life. In athletics, what sets me apart from other athletes is my willingness to do what needs to be done for the team even if it means sacrificing my comfort or what I want. My character is different from other recruits is that I see them not only as competition but other people to bring up as well. As athletes, teams are always working together which is why I think it is important to be a good/fair sport, and always be encouraging to others.
