I have been exposed to the track and field life from a young age, even attending my first meet at six days old. However I only started my own track and field career when I was in 7th grade. That year I was able to set 2 records in my area as well as place 10th at the USATF Junior Olympics. Ever since then I have continued to pursue athletic greatness. My resolve to become better and refine my technique has helped me on and off the field. The persistence and patience involved has helped me grow not only as an athlete but also as a person. Academic achievement has also always been a priority as well. I have consistently received honor role and have no plans on dropping my GPA.
