I began running for fun with my dad when I was ten years old, and began running competitively as a varsity member of the Rogers High school indoor and outdoor track teams my freshman year. When we moved back to San Diego my Sophomore year, I joined the Helix high school cross country and outdoor track teams where my distance coach quickly placed me on the varsity team. After my sophomore season, I began to aspire running at the collegiate level.
I use the experience I gain from each race to get better each time I run. I've improved my stride, and have a very strong kick. Every coach I've ever had has said they love working with me, because I'm coachable, work hard, and lead by example. I will be the hardest working recruit you will find.
I realize my grades area critical part of the recruiting process, so I work very hard in the classroom. I have a 4.37 GPA, and I am in the top 10% of my class.
My coaches and family have helped me realize the unlimited potential I have both academically and athletically. I want to attend a college that will push me academically, and on the course/track.
I am open to all colleges that offer STEM degrees, and that will help me compete at the highest level possible. I will be a leader, and excellent role model for any college that is the right match for both the university and me.
