Ekene Onwaeze '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been running track on club teams since I was 7. I have put in countless hours in training, both at the club level and in high school. I have competed at a high level in track all over the country, including going to the USATF Junior Olympics. Was voted the MVP of the Boys Team at BCU Track Club, and most improved athlete at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles. This last year, I was part of the great Cathedral High School Track Team and compiled the following records in 2021 alone; Winner of the 4X400 relay at the California State Championships; Winner of the 800 meters SMR at the Nike USATF National OUtdoors Championship at the Hayward field in Eugene Oregon, setting a new Hayward Field Record; Third place 4X400 meters relay at Hayward Field, Eugene Oregon. Two time All American at Hayward Field Eugene Oregon; Best time in US in 4x200 meters relay. Recorded personal bests in 100 meters [11.03], 200 meters [22.3] and 400 meters [49.7]
