Stefan Nelson '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Stefan and I currently play as a wide receiver at Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, CA. I love football and have played it since I was 7 years old.  I look forward to every practice and every game. I work hard on continuously becoming better on the field both individually and as part of the team. I love the thrill of winning - I scored 13 touchdowns this season and won the fastest time in 40 yard dash during football camp last summer (4.6s). I also take losing a game as a challenge and a learning experience on how/what to do better next time. Most of all though, I love playing!  

Growing, learning and becoming better every day is also a big part of my academic objectives - I am currently an AP and an Honors student. College education is an important goal for me and critical for obtaining the skills to be successful and thrive in life. I also enjoy spending time with my family and playing drums.

My dream is to study and play football for a D-1 school that will challenge me both academically and competitively. I am fully committed to reaching this goal.
