Joshua Klausmeier '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Joshua Klausmeier.  I am a senior at El Dorado.  This will be my 4th year on the cross country and track teams.  I love to run!  I am a hard worker in my academics and my athletics.  I set goals and strive to achieve them.  Also, I have good citizenship, and I love being on a team.  

I run two events in track, the 3200m and 1600m.  My best time for the 1600m is 4:39. My best time for the 3200m is 9:57, and I qualified for CIF Southern Section Prelims this season in this event.  My best cross country time is 15.51.  As a team (2022-2023 school year), El Dorado High School cross country won league and then went on to CIF Southern Section Prelims (I finished 1st on the team) and at CIF Southern Section Finals (I finished 2nd on the team). We finished one race short of qualifying for state. 

My goals for college are to get a bachelors degree, majoring in Game Art Design.  I would also love to run both cross country and track all 4 years in college.  I want to continue to improve in my running by strengthening my body and mind.
