Personal Statement
I am very dedicated and my goal is to become a coach and teacher I have a 3.5 gpa and I love conditioning, running, weight training, lifting and football and I am always striving to be the best I can. I am currently number one in the 300 hurdles for my school Tulare Western High school and our County. I am also on the varsity team for football and track and field and am a started for both. I have only been running the 300 hurdles for a couple months and already have four 1st place wins and three 2nd place wins and other 1st place wins in the 4x400 relay. I am also 1st place in the 110 meter high hurdles. In the short months that I have ran the 300 hurdles I have already taken off 2.82 off my hurdle time. I am very coach able and always listen to the advice of my coaches and am flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to be a winner and meet my goals in life. When I was younger I was bullied for my autism and other disabilities and as a small child I decided to overcome through running and it took a lot to overcome the obstacles set in front of me but with the help of my mom and coaches and support from my brothers and my Grandparents and Aunt I have gained confidence and the mental and physical strength I needed to succeed in sports, school and life and now I have become a varsity starter in two sports. I am currently training for the upcoming season of track and training and helping the new freshman to show them the fundamentals of track and help them be successful. I will be graduating spring 2020 with my A-Gs and NCAA meet and will be ready to get on the college field and run because I love running. My goal to be a teacher and a coach is because I know that I can help other students who are like me to overcome there obstacles and be successful like I have been so far and to also encourage those who are good to be better and lead by example.
