My Journey:

Greetings! I am Justus Hundley, a 17-year-old student athlete with aspirations that extend far beyond my current standing. My journey thus far has been marked by adversity and determination, leading me to envision a future where I can make a substantial contribution to your collegiate team.

Overcoming Early Challenges

During my initial two years of high school, I faced the formidable challenge of iron and ferritin deficiencies. These conditions rendered me the slowest member of my track team. However, instead of succumbing to this setback, I chose to confront it head-on. I embarked on a journey of self-improvement, acquiring knowledge about running, health, and wellness along the way. This period of adversity taught me resilience and instilled in me a relentless work ethic.

Academic Excellence

In addition to my athletic pursuits, I maintain a 4.35 GPA. I am an active member of the Honors Society and have immersed myself in Advanced Placement classes and college courses. My dedication to academic achievement aligns with my pursuit of a degree in business economics.

My Athletic Accomplishments

As a middle-distance runner, my performance has steadily improved, and I would like to share my race records with you:

• 2023 T&F 1600 meters: 4:28 

• 2023 T&F 3200 meters: 9:27 

• 2023 Cross Country 3-Mile: 14:39

My Aspirations and What I Offer

My ultimate goal is to compete at the Division I level while pursuing a degree in business economics. I am fully committed to the relentless pursuit of excellence in both realms.
