Goals and Aspirations
As a child, education has always been pushed in my household. Both of my parents are college graduates and participated in sports at the college level. They are both principals in the Broward County School system in Florida. My goals in life are to graduate from high school, continue my education, and graduate from college so that I can become a productive citizen in life and in my community. I think that I will be a great recruit for any college because I work hard on my academics and any sport that I play or participate in. In elementary school I ran track for one year but did not stay in the sport because I was also playing basketball year round. In my junior year in high school I decided not to participate in basketball and run track instead. I succeeded really well in track ranking 13th. in the state of Florida. What makes me different is that I haven't been running track all my life, but it proves that hard work and dedication will pay off if you are committed. I am committed to running for a college team that believes in their athletes and a well rounded program. My character is one of christian faith, respect, an honor for any sport or college that invests in me. I want to attend a college where I can strive in the classroom as well as on the track. I am open to all locations and want to ultimately find the right college fit that will assist me in meeting my goals as a college student and athlete.
