Lucas Mathews '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Mathews, and i have been running track since the 6th grade. I started my track career running the 2 mile and 1 mile for most of my middle school years, but once i hit 11th geade i realized i was much better at 400m. Last season i ran an average of 53 seconds for the 400 meter, and my plan for this season is to break 50. I believe my work ethic will allow me to accomplish my goals and i hope i can run at the next level following graduation.
