My collegiate goals and aspirations are to go to a college or an university that makes me feel at home not only on the track or the field but also in the classroom. College is very important to me because I want to make my mother proud, for all the sacrifices she has made for me in order for me to be where I am today I feel like that is the best way to say thank you. I feel like I am a great candidate for a college team, not only am I a great player but I am an even better teammate too. I am a very hard worker as well, the thing about me that is different from other players is that I am always willing to go another step to reach my goal, many players can’t wait for a practice to be over or don‘t want to lift one day, I am the complete opposite I will be the first man on the field and the last one off of it. My athletic abilities are very different from others in way that I am very proud of. I have been taught many ways to be faster, stronger, more agile than the competition but if I have learned one thing in my years of sports it is the fact that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work, this saying has always been in my head because I have learned that you do not have to be the fastest person or the strongest person in order to go to the next level you just have to be willing to work your butt off as hard and as long as it takes. If I were to attend any college I would not only work as hard as possible to be the best athlete I will work even harder in the classroom because I know that college sports doesn’t last forever unfortunately but the knowledge that you learn in the classroom and in textbooks will stick with you forever. So not only is playing sports at the next level important to me but getting a great education is number one .
