I know coaches have a lot of talent to look at. Choosing me means selecting an athlete that has everything you are looking for. I might be young but I have big dreams and aspirations. I finished up my cross country season with a 2nd place finish at our 4A district 8 meet with a 16:47 moving me on to the 4A Regional 2 meet with a 4th place finish and a school record breaking time of 16:18 qualifying me for states and a nomination for the FACA All-Star team. After states I was notified that I was selected as a permanent runner for All-Stars. My track positions this upcoming year are the mile, two mile, 4x800, 4x400, open 400, and open 800. Goals for those events will be sub 4:17 for mile, sub 9:45 for the 2 mile, 4x800 split of 1:53, a 4x400 split of 50, open 400 of 50, and open 800 1:53. I plan on qualifying for states in the mile, 4x800 and 4x400.
I've been weighing the following majors for consideration in college: Business, hospitality, culinary, and sports management. I'm currently maintaining a part time job as a waiter at our local country club while still training, competing, managing school and balancing a social life which is challenging but I'm able to do it through my dedication to succeeding in the future. My collegiate goal would be to get a full scholarship to run for an amazing school. During my first year of running for your school I would like to have the opportunity to be one of those great runners and be able to go to nationals for cross country and/or track.
I'm an all or nothing, loyal, true, hard working kid that wants to be given the chance to prove how talented I truly am.
