Sion Farley-Thompson '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, 

                      My name is Sion Farley- Thompson, a rising junior from Arabia Mountain and member of the track team. I may not seem like much right now, but I've been giving my all and putting my heart into training over this summer, so expect a breakout season this upcoming school year. I know I am a good candidate for any team for my positive spirit and leadership skills.  Over the summer i gained thirty llbd of muscle, and I am ready to to hit the ground running, be sure to check my page for updates because this is my season where I takeover. Outside of track, I also write poetry and attend my church Berean Christian Church regularly, as I am apart of the youth church leadership group. I also work at Chick-fil-A off Lavista Rd. As of now, I've only been working there for 2 months but I'm improving rapidly. Some would say it's very difficult, near impossible to balance a sport, a job, band, and grades and come out on top. However, I'm mastering all of these elements pretty well. In college, I plan to major in statistics or marine biology. It sounds like a quirky combo but I just have two different ideas of what I want to do in college. Back to track and field: we will have schedules sent for upcoming meets so I'll make sure to update this bio on it, and who knows maybe whoever's reading this may fly out or drive out to see the talent and sportsmanship that I posses and will hopefully be able to spread on your team. Until then, I'll be here in Stone Mountain working and outworking the competition.
