Sean Lewis '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sean Carl Lewis.I grew up in an African household with 2 siblings and a single mother.Throughout my years of finding something that would light this fire in me, I found track.I love track and field due to the competition that I have to face and nothing else get my blood bumping than the feeling of going up against someone that is better than you, and beating them in the process.Track and Field is also the only sport that pushes my work ethic and mental capabilities to its absolute limit even though I only ran for 2 years.I'am a very competitive person and I hate losing.This comes from my mindset of wanting to dominate at the #1 spot and pushing myself to new heights.I also faced my fair share of challenges, coming from injuries, to performance, and mental state.But I overcame each one of those challenges one by one learning and evolving as a person and a student athlete however it took time for me to realize this.I'am also a academic student who is currently taking 2 dual enrollment classes.My main goal is to keep getting better and better everyday as a person/student-athlete no matter how small of a progress I make.Getting better and dominating is what burns my fire when it comes to overall passion.I'am currently looking for someone who can take my talents, worth ethic, and dedication to new levels that I haven't seen before.I can also sometimes be a slow and fast learning so it may take me some time for me to learn.I'am grateful and open to all sort of possibilities and I won't hesitate to take any opportunities!
