My name is Ben McCoy; I am a senior at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, and I run cross country and distance track. Competing at the college level as a student athlete is my number one goal. I earned a spot on both varsity teams my freshman year and was Cross Country MVP my sophomore and Junior years and Track Runner of the Year 2016. I possess two traits, commitment and a strong work ethic, which are the key to my success. I competed at the state level my freshman year and lead Blessed Trinity’s cross country team to Back to Back 3A Georgia State Championships my sophomore and Junior years. I have broken several school records and lead the track team to a State Runner Up my Junior year. My ideal university would have a strong Engineering program paired with impressive cross country and distance track teams. I am very coachable and work hard everyday to improve my running, my academics, and myself as a contributing member of society.
