I am an athlete with a passion for track. My goal is to compete at the highest level possible at a college that is the best fit for both my athletic and academic ability and interest as well as a culture that I enjoy.
I run varsity track, play varsity football and played JV basketball. As a junior, I ran an 11.06 100m and 22.27 200m. As a sophomore my 4 x2 00 team beat the state record and as a junior my 4 x 400 team son state. I intend to improve my times this season and run the 400m as an individual event.
Playing sports has taught me that resilience, hard work and passion create results. I apply these lessons in the classroom with a current GPA of 3.67 (3.8 weighted).
Although I love competitive sports, I try to keep a balance of sports, academics and time with my family and friends. I love to golf, snow ski, take in a good movie, and spend time at the lake with extended family.
Why am a good recruit for your team? I am very driven and committed to participating in athletics at the college level. In the off-season I play other sports and attend a personalized athletic training center in an effort to continually get faster and stronger. Although competitive, I have a calm demeanor which allows me to compete well under pressure. I love the competition, but most of all love the camaraderie with my teammates and coaches.
