To be honest at this current moment in time, I'm not in a place to set long term end goals. I do know by the end of my senior year of highschool I'd like to be at about a 15:30 5k and about a 4:15 1600. I feel that these are obtainable, yet still challenging.
If a coach directly asked me why I would be a good addition to their team, I would simply say "I'm determined." Now, that may seem like a lackluster answer, but I feel that it encompasses me as a whole. That's who I am, that's what I strive for, and that's what a coach would see if they brought me on to their team.
When it comes to differentiating myself from any other athlete, I would proudly point to my academics first. For the last 4 years I've gotten nothing less than an A while taking high level honors classes, and in this current school year, three AP classes. If that's not sufficient, I also have the honor and privilege of being a team captain for both my cross country team and my track team. Even further still, I have an honest live for the sport, and I would do almost anything other than sacrifice my honest integrity to run for the rest of my life.
