Jake Cruz '25 Recruiting Profile

As a runner, my motto has always been "Be the rest runner I can be". At the college level, I hope to become a major essential to the team over the years as well as leave a lasting impact when my time is done. My current teammates have always referred to me as one of if not the hardest workers on the team. Whenever the team is drained or low in spirits, I am known to step in and push them to that next level. I am known on the team to push others to "reach that next pace" or "run this last stride right". Whether it be in the classroom, on the track, or just in general, I always show up with a positive attitude. To me, it only takes one little smile to make a huge difference on someone.
