Sophomore year of high school is where I really looked at running a whole different way. Ever since then I've always wanted to push myself whenever it comes to races. I know that if I want to do more of that, I will have to compete in college.
As an athlete I am disciplined in what I do. If I set my goal to it, I the little things that lead up to the big thing. As a teammate I would set up runs for our team to meet up on days where we don't have practice. Every track Workout that we would do I am say something encouraging to my peers before we start. Being a good teammate means that you can build up good habits from it and having people follow what you're doing.
In my school I would participate in any class discussions that we would have. Anytime I don't do well in a subject, I would ask questions to try and understand. I do Marching Band, Jazz Band, and I take a strength class to strengthen my body. I did wrestle my freshman year. I can also speak 2 languages English and Polish.
In college I would like to pursue my academic dreams and compete for a college track and/or cross-country team. This has been a dream of mine ever since I've watched videos online of student athletes. I am open to any opportunities that I would like to help my peers/teammates any way I can and make my family proud.
