My name is Jacob Fedderke I currently attend Steeleville High School in Illinois. My goal in the sport of cross country is to become the fastest on my team and my conference, I also want my time to be around a 15:45 by the end of high school, and I want to push the other runners on my team not just to race the other team but race me for their rank on our own team. My first year in cross country I was ranked eighth on the team and I was mad at myself because I felt like i could do better, so during the off season I worked on my speed and endurance. the next year I dropped Two minuets off my time and was fast enough to be our fourth runner and advance to state with the rest of the varsity team. Next year I hope to have dropped another two minuets off my time.
While cross country is my main sport I also run track and my main event is the 3200 meter. For my 3200 I want to beat my school's record of 10:17 and I want my personal record to be a 10:00 flat or lower. I would like to go to state in the near future and represent my school as Successful runner.
I know I still have a ways to go on my running journey and I am going to work hard and do everything in my power to meat my goals.
