I am who I am today because of two things, sports, and my family. I have played multiple sports all throughout my life, and they have taught me to work hard no matter the circumstances and never quit. Life rewards the people who work hard and do the right thing, and I always keep that in mind throughout my day-to-day life. My family has always supported me and taught me to be a good person. They always push me to be bigger and better every day. While playing sports all my life, I have learned a lot about myself. I always strive to never quit and work a little bit harder, adopting the mindset of where I am currently is never enough. One day in the car on the way home from a basketball game, my dad told me, "The best player doesn't always win, the player who plays the best does." Through that quote and sports, I learned that I can always hang with whoever I am competing with, it just depends on how tough I am willing to be.
Academically I always have pushed myself to achieve all A's, to make the honor roll, to be inducted into the National Honor Society, and to maintain these goals until I graduate from college. I am very interested in the medical field and sciences. I enjoy learning about the human body and its unique features. I am not quite sure what yet, but I know I would definitely like to study and pursue a career in the medical field and major in biology.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I appreciate it.
