To be candid, it's not about me. It's about if I can be an actual asset to a solid D1 team. I'm not sure if it makes sense for me to run track in college or not. I've never had an actual hurdles coach guiding my training (outside of 2 summer camps) so it's hard to know how much of a quick boost is possible with some solid coaching.
If I run, I want to be a key point contributor across hurdles, the 400, and possibly the decathlon and events. I don't want to make this a focus in college unless I can add real value to your team. So, if you're a coach and you're interested in watching some film to see how much you might be able to make quick mechanical improvements with some solid coaching, I'd be very open to that discussion. If you see there's an easy way to shave real time, in a way that I can be a solid D1 contributor on your team, then I'm open to and would appreciate having that conversation.
Thank you for your consideration.
