Carson Sommers '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Carson Sommers. I am a passionate pole vaulter who is looking for an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.  My current best is 14’6”.  I have improved 2’ each season and hope to do so again my senior year.  My lifelong goal is to be a firefighter after college and hope to end up in a southern state.  I enjoy lifting weights and playing guitar when I’m not vaulting.  I am extremely disciplined in the classroom, with my diet, in the weight room, and on the track.  I try to be a great teammate and I take a lot of joy in making others around me better.  Please let me know if you would be interested.  Thanks!
