2016 HighlightsI have been runing since I was 14 years old. When I started running I was not the best. I was not the kind of person that made excellent times right away. It took me a long time of hard training to become what I am now. It was a lot of effort every single day to prepare my body and my mind to deal with my training and my school. I don't believe in limits, it's not in my dictionary, I just know the meaning of working hard, I am the kind of person who would put everything every day to catch their dreams.
I am a very humble person, because humility is the key to greatness. I have helped other athletes in my city by sharing my knowledge, skills and even my spike shoes, so I know they will remember me as a good person. The person that saw future in their eyes and helped them no matter what.
Every person in this world has goals and aspirations. However, what makes a successful person different from others is that extra effort. I put in that extra effort every day. Since I wake up, I know what I want to do and I know that everything I want won't come easy. I need to give a 100% effort to make my dreams come true. I know that I can make it and that's the reason why I don't have a plan B - it would only distracts me from my ultimate goals.
I love learning and I think education gives you the chance to compete and be successful. I am currently enrolled in AP Physics and Mathematics and I am in the top 30% of my class academically. I try to learn something new every day in the classroom and at the track, hence I would like to join a university where I can train and study at the same time, where I can grow as a person, achieve my goals as a student and become a better athlete.
