John Castro Arias '19 Recruiting Profile

  My name is John J. Castro, I’m from Juncos, Puerto Rico. I want to be great businessman and a great track & field athlete. One of my goals is to help young people like me, to reach their goals academic and in sport.

  I want to go to a college that can give me the opportunity to achieve my goals, academically and in sport. Academically I want to finish my bachelor, if I can get the master and the PHD. In sport I want to go to the Olympics and the World Championship. I want a team that I can call my family, that all have the same goals and aspirations inside and outside the track.

  One thing that characterize me as an athlete and a person is the competition attitude and I like to congratulate my fellow competitors at the beginning and at the end of each run. I’m also a very happy person and I think that sport is for enjoy it and have fun.
