As a lowerclassman I didn't take school very seriously, I messed around, didn't do my schoolwork, and just generally didn't care. It was about halfway through my Junior year that I realized if I was going to be successful in life, I would need to change my attitude and behavior. This year, my senior year, I've enrolled myself in two college level classes (American History 101 and AP Chemistry). My new drive to be successful is what drives me to do better every day; If I don't change my path academically, I won't have any foundation to continue my career athletically.
