Beginning my javelin career late in the game was tough, however I knew I had to make up for the time I had lost and worked hard in my first season of throwing. I always knew I could throw further at every single meet and that mindset took me to state my very first year of throwing and helped me place second at the biggest state track meet in the country. Playing multiple sports such as football and basketball helped me get a leg up on the competition. I am determined to play at the collegiate level and am looking forward to everything that has yet to come.
