2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started track in 7th grade as something to keep me in shape for soccer, but never thought I’d be wanting to advance my track career to the collegiate level. As I’ve progressed through my track career I have come to enjoy the self determination that is required to push one’s self to succeed. Due to being a military family I have moved several times and had to adapt and overcome different challenges along the way, whether it be changing schools, finding new friends, or having to find new teams. In college I would like to study in a health-related field, preferably Neuroscience, then continue on to medical school to become an Emergency Room Physician in the Navy.
