I have played soccer since I was 11 years old and when I stepped onto the field I always felt like the fastest kid there. When I got to High School I continued to play soccer for all 4 years but my sophomore year I did track and field. It wasn’t something I thought I would find interesting but something about the adrenaline I got when I was lined up in the blocks opened up this unknown love and passion I had for this sport.
Me as an athlete I am a very competitive person and when I see someone who is working harder than me I push myself to work just as hard or even harder than them. I am very coachable and and respectful athlete and will never not give you my full 100% in every practice and every meet. One of my best athletic features is my discipline and dedication when working out and trying to achieve my goals.
Collage was never in my future plans when I entered high school and in class I would just give the bare minimum which I regret doing now. End of junior year I really loved track and field and wanted to pursue it in collage so with the little time I had left I tried my best to get the best grades I could. I tried taking that extra step this senior year taking an extra collage math class to see if I can bring up my GPA. Doing track in collage now has become and dream of mine and I will do the best I can to achieve that.
