I'm currently attending Shawnee Heights High School(5A) located in Tecumseh, KS. My graduation year is 2018 and I'm looking to further my education and my running career on to college. My GPA is a 4.0(unweighted) and 4.31(weighted). I am apart of many clubs like National Honors Society, Key Club, Junior Civitan, and Fellowship Christan Students. What I am looking for in a college is whether or not that school has my major and whether or not it's a good program for me. Then I look if I like the cross country/track team and coaches because I will be around them a lot. Then I look at the price of schooling because I have aspirations of going on to a graduate program. So having my first 4 years debt free would be really helpful. Lastly, I look at the little thing, like if the school takes care of me, what meets the team goes to, the chances of that team winning conference, and if that team has athletes I can push myself with. I am an extremely hard worker, one that is willing to wake up and run at 6:00 a.m and go back after school and run some more. I come from a team where I have to push myself the whole time and have to run by myself, so having people to push me throughout practice and school.
