Hello my name is Justin Moultrie. I'm looking to attend a university where I can play track division I , division II or division III with a wide variety of majors.
I currently attend Archbishop Curley High School and will graduate in 2014. I am currently in my Junior year and will graduate in 2015. I enjoy the challenges that the classes and problems that my class gives me because it helps you learn the mistakes that you made and pushes you to be the best that you can be. In college, I plan on looking into the health field but right now, I'm still undecided in what major I want to do.
My goals for college track is to be the best that I can be, on the track, in the weight room and even in the class room. I love track, I'm always running hard in practice and lifting weights in the weigh room everyday. Every night, I do a 3 minute stretch to make sure that my body is well ready for tomorrow and to make sure that no injuries happen. I love the competition that I run, and I show sportmanship by giving them a "good luck" and a "good race" everytime I race against someone. The reason I love track is because its a sport where it is all mental, that you have to push yourself through the pain and force your mind to know that the pain is going to happen but you have to push through it and run your hardest. To me, the most important thing about a track team is the bond and relationship you have with your team and coaches. I love my track teammates, they are like brothers to me, they push me to be better and I push them also, even with coaches. I'm always helping my teammates with races and handoffs and always push them to be the best that they can be. To be able to run track in college will be wonderful, to expirence the competition and hard work that is put in is really nice.
I'm always paying attention in school, I even go to some of my teachers after school if I do not understand something. Like my mom says, school first, then track. Overall I plan on going to a good college that I am comfortbale to go to, that can give me the motivation to be the best that I can be in academics and in sports. For right now, I will continue to excel in my classes and train my hardest to be the best in track.
