My name is Solomon David and I am a student at Stephen Decatur High School. Being an athlete at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine no matter level. I've always been an athlete, playing many sports but the one that stuck with me the most was basketball. In my junior year however, I found out how much I truly loved track and field and over this last summer I've been training to get better and better. I've always been told that I am hard worker and a good listener which has helped me improve even more. While being somewhat new to this has made it seem like I'm far behind everyone, I think it also helps give me an advantage since I have so much room to grow. This past year I was the regional runner up in high jump, was 1 of 2 from my team to make states and my pr is 6'2. I also did long jump, the 200, the 4x4 and this year I plan on doing the 100 and triple jump as well. Along with sports I've also excelled in school taking multiple AP courses and passing all the test with 3s' or higher, I have a 3.8 gpa and a 1190 SAT score which I plan on improving this year.
